There was always someone waiting for an order, so obviously people know it's good. It's not a fast food. There was a litte waiting for the food. The staff was nice. The prices were fair.

My w... read more The French toast here was incredible—definitely some of the best I’ve ever had! Our waitress was attentive and friendly, making our experience even better. My wife enjoyed an omelet with hash browns, while my baby had eggs, toast, and sausage. Everything was delicious! We have no complaints whatsoever and will definitely be back. I would give it 10 stars if I could!

We ordered chicken fried steak, hamburger steak, and a cheeseburger, along with sides of pickles, okra, and green beans (which were cooked in bacon – so tasty!). We also had potatoes, macaroni and cheese, fries, and toast, baked and grilled. These little extras really make a difference! I can't believe how many negative reviews this place has received; I was hesitant to try it because of those reviews, but I'm so glad I did! I wanted to take a photo to share with my review, but it was too late – we had already dug into our meals! Do yourself a favor and give it a try. All five stars from me! I'm from Lubbock and quite picky when it comes to food, but I enjoyed every bite at Rustic Cafe. I will definitely be back to try their breakfast on my next visit to Haskell!

It came with onion rings and okra, making for a meal that was even better than what I'd typically find at most truck stops. I'm really glad I decided to stop here!

Struck up a conversation with h... read more Excellent 24 hour restaurant stop at. Service was wonderful our waitress was super high school student, very polite very pretty. Struck up a conversation with her really nice young lady. Food was excellent wide variety of things, plus I have a believe it was 2 lb hamburger that if you eat it the trimmings and everything it's free and not very many people have finished it from what I saw. I will definitely stop again next time I'm in Haskell Texas.
