What a beautiful unexpected experience! Off-the-path tiny town with a jewel of a restaurant. Old western institution, and friendly good service. Exceptional food. The steaks were perfect and the sides interesting and tasty. Very recommended, a bit out of the way to find this place. (Only complaint: Must Love Pepper. A little heavy hand in all dishes. Oh, and the bar serves fantastic cocktails! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Miners And Stockmen's:
The history of this place is an obvious draw, and the food doesn't disappoint. We had ribeyes with the sides and salad it comes with, and they were delicious. What did disappoint was the staff. We made a reservation, got seated, and were ignored for over ten minutes. When we asked for service we were told the entire restaurant had one waiter. A girl who was not a waitress was pressed into service to keep up, and she... View all feedback.
What a delightful surprise! This charming little restaurant in a quaint, off-the-beaten-path town is truly a gem. It has the vibe of an old Western establishment and features friendly, attentive service. The food is exceptional; the steaks were cooked to perfection, and the side dishes were both unique and flavorful. I highly recommend paying a visit, though it might take a bit of effort to find. My only minor complaint is that they seem to have a heavy hand with pepper in all their dishes. On a positive note, the bar serves fantastic cocktails!
The best in wyoming! worth the journey from anywhere in the state. prime bark meat, which is cooked exactly as ordered. Yes, I like my steak rarely. the service is great, the owners are great, and the history of the place is fascinating.
The atmosphere could no longer be perfect for a small town in Wyoming. Once you go in, you know that this meal will be something special. Start with a good selection of drinks from the bar. All salad dressing is made in the house. Dressing on the wedge salad made me think I have a BLT sandwich! Delicious! Prime Beef! Perfectly seasoned to make the taste of the meat shine. The garlic potatoes were perfect and the green beans were also good. Then take off with another bourbon, and this is as perfect as a meal as you can get.
I visited this restaurant with my entire National Guard unit, which numbered nearly 100 people, if not more. They were prepared for us in advance, as we had rented out the entire venue. We certainly tested the staff’s abilities, but they did an exceptional job, handling everything with grace and a smile. The cocktails were fantastic, and the Saddle Brone beer is among the best I've ever tasted. The food was excellent, too, and the atmosphere really adds to the charm of this place. If I'm in the area again, I will definitely stop by, and I highly recommend you do as well.
This was probably the best prime rib I've ever tasted. The Southwest corn was a delightful surprise, prepared in a way I hadn't encountered before, and it came with delicious mashed potatoes. The bartender was fantastic. We were part of a large group of over 100 people, and the only real downside was that the service was a bit slow, which is understandable given our size. The Caesar salad was also very tasty. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating with beautiful scenery, and there are horseshoes available in the back. The place has many interesting historical quirks that add to its charm. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.
