What ScotlandJaydee likes about Radcliffe Arms:
Having popped in for drinks on a cold afternoon, we found there was a quiz on that evening and decided to return for that, with a meal beforehand. On both visits we were made to feel very welcome, children and dog included. Food was simple and tasty. Very traditional pub with no mobile phones allowed which made for a convivial atmosphere. We came here for Sunday lunch. It’s a no frills Sam Smith pub, so don’t expect a wide range of different beers. Also when we came we were told there were just 2 options for lunch, pork or beef. View all feedback.

read moreThis cozy and traditional Sam Smith pub offers a no-frills Sunday lunch with limited menu options. While the beer selection is basic, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with blazing fires and friendly staff. The homely, microwaved food may not be perfect, but it's hearty and generously portioned. They have clear rules against mobile phones and laptops, creating a quiet and relaxing environment. The friendly owners, Sue and Dave, provide excellent service and delicious homemade meals at great value. Whether for a quiet afternoon or a family lunch, this gem of a pub is worth returning to again and again.
