Standard ,decent pub food not sure it's home ma... read more Called in with my elderly mother to find very pleasant,cheerful and helpful hosts .Made mum a lovely pot of tea. Standard ,decent pub food not sure it's home made but good quality. Has light bites for those with small appetites which is always a bonus as we hate waste . Decor is as a lovely old inn should be but very clean . Unfortunately its changed payment to cash only not the hosts choice but the owners that may lose them customers but I hope not . Will definitely be returning

It's one of the most welcoming and friendly public houses I've ever visited proprietors Sue and Dave are wonderful, genuine and honest people nothing is too much trouble. This is a place you will want to return to again and again!

The co... read more I recently visited this restaurant with my husband and friends for dinner and drinks. It is a very welcoming establishment that I would highly recommend. The cozy bar has an open fire and serves excellent food. I also appreciate that they have a designated area where we can bring our dog along.

Cosy... read more From the telephone call to take the table reservation, through the ordering of the me to the meal on the table everything was right about this restaurant. Cosy atmosphere, friendly staff, tasty food. Try the pies they are home baked and well presented. The desserts are scrumptious too. Recommended.
