It is a traditional English pub with a great selection of beer, friendly staff, and a clean environment. I visited on both Saturday afternoon and evening and had a wonderful time. He remembered trying Old Peculiar on cask during a previous visit and was happy to find it just as tasty this time. The pub had a friendly landlord and interesting memorabilia - we're planning on visiting again tomorrow.

We were staying in Harrogate for a few days and called into this pub twice for a well-warned pint after quite a bit of driving around Yorkshire. We were so glad that we did.

We would have loved... read more This is a great pub with a cozy coal fire. The staff is friendly and talkative, and they recommended an IPA that my husband really enjoyed. We would have loved to stay longer, but we were on a market day trip. We will definitely return here if we find ourselves in Harrogate again.

Great pub , lov... read more Stayed in Harrogate for 2 nights , visited this pub on both occasions. Husband loved Timothy Taylor’s , he said best pint he’d had in Harrogate. Great pub , lovely staff and even the landlord remembered us from previous night, that says it all. Definitely worth a visit.
