The breakfast consisting of two glasses of large fresh orange juice, two enormous croissants and café con leche was excellent and fresh. Very polite young man served us.

There wasn't much open and when looking things up... read more The town of Haro, at least on the day/time we were there (Monday, May 30th, 2022, around 1pm) was really dead. There wasn't much open and when looking things up on Google Maps, it was obviously outdated as it listed things that we could tell had gone out of business. We happened to find this cafe and it was open and in a nicer part of town. The food was just okay nothing that great but perhaps they're better known for their nice coffees and such (which we didn't have any of, so I can't necessarily say they're known for those either). But the gentleman helping us was really nice and with our limited Spanish, he was able to get us waters, cokes food that we requested. And although we didn't park nearby, there are about 3 loading/unloading spots directly in front so while we were finishing, my husband went and grabbed the car and brought it around so our twin toddlers didn't have to walk as far to get loaded back up.

The waiter serving us then complained that we were being difficult. He then actually swore at us! Not a word of apology but quite the opposite. Dreadful experience.
