The Highlands At Harbor Springs Main Dining Room

Been here a few times and it was always very nice, friendly staff and good food. It's just always a very nice time with a very nice atmosphere.

Basic and limited but good flavors Bar severely lacking

There are better choices in the Petoskey area. The prawns were good, as was the chicken. Other than that, everything was average. The atmosphere is lacking, it was sort of cool to travel back in time the minute you entered the place. I dunno, I just didn't like it.

Food was basic buffet food and awful! The food had been sitting out for awhile and dried out. The cost was $40 per person and I expected higher quality of food. Very disappointed. They also doubled charged me. They charged my card and my room for the dinner. It was then difficult to get them to give me a refund and took 30 minutes to wait for staff to find the receipt from the Main Dining Room. Even then, they tried to say they had only charged my room, I had to show my receipt plus my electronic bank app where it clearly had been charged!

Sat at the bar, staff was friendly, and food is ok. However, when I was there, there were an abundance of green house flies. I was constantly swatting at my food to keep the flies off. Besides the flies, it was a good experience.
