Whenever we travel, I always enjoy searching for breweries, and this one is a must-visit when we're in the area. The olive burger here is the best I've ever tasted. While I'm not usually a beer drinker, my husband enjoys craft beer, and he loves what they offer. The service has consistently been excellent with little to no wait time. You definitely won't regret checking out this place! View all feedback.
What Willard Williamson doesn't like about Petoskey Brewing:
I also took another star off because they didn’t ask how I wanted my burger cooked. While it was tasty, I'm sure the owner believes they know better than me about how well-done my burger should be. View all feedback.
Visited for the first time about a month ago on recommendation of a co-worker and it did not disappoint. We both had the classic burger, she with onion rings and mine with fries. Both were great; one of the best burgers I'd had in a while. I had a BlueberryCrush on tap, also very good and would love to get some for home. The Mrs had a Spiked Peach Punch, also very good. Woulddefinitely recommend and we'll be back when in the area again.
THOU SHALL TRY THE CHIPOTLE CHICKEN SANDWICH! If you are unsure about the beer menu because everything looks so good, you can also get a flight of 5 beers. The history behind the building is pretty cool. Their outdoor patio and seating area is a ton offun. Definitely recommend!!
We have driven past this place several times over the years and this visit to Petoskey we decided to stop in. The building is very much a bar type restaurant and brewery. The atmosphere is nice for grabbing a beer or bringing kids for a meal. Speaking of meals, the portion sizes were plentiful! For our party of five (including kids), we got the cheese curds appetizer and everyone in our party enjoyed them. A gluten free person can also have a drink and order food off the menu- they have a couple of gluten free ciders and gluten free buns included on the menu. Their menu is more upscale bar food, deluxe burgers, sandwiches, etc. They do not have a kids menu or kid size drinks with lids- so beware if you have littles in your party, you may want to bring cups with lids. For the kids, we ordered the chicken finger appetizer and it was big enough for the two kids to split. As for service, the place was not busy at 5pm and the food came out quickly and was hot. When we are in the area again next year, we will be sure to return to this place. I recommend this place to anyone!Kid-friendliness: They do have a chicken finger meal that kids frequently order- it is big enough for two kids to share. No drink cups with lids though.Dietary restrictions: A gluten free person can get a good meal and drinks here!
I’ve been to this brewery many times. It’s convenient to Petoskey State Park where we camp and convenient to cyclers on the busy local trails. A great patio area makes it great for an outside beer in nice weather. Today we just had a diet coke which was a little flat, truth be told, and an ipa which really wasn’t as cold as I like — drawn into a warm glass maybe?
Fantastic brewery with excellent food and beers/drinks. Love the atmosphere, The service is top rate as well.
