GF and I split a ham and bean soup and a basket of fried chicken with fries, and added a cole slaw. Everything was good, and the service was very friendly.
Nice hometown diner in the heart of Hancock, NY. We met some family here to catch up. Service was great. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Some of the sandwiches we ordered were the Burger and Fries, BLT and the Sportsman breakfast, which consisted of 2 eggs, 2 stripsof bacon, 2 sausage links, 2 pancakes, home fries toast. The food was served hot and was very tasty. The bacon could have been crispier home fries could have been a little browner. Then again it was lunchtime and I should have ordered a sandwich. We definitely will be stopping here again for our next meet-up.
The food at this restaurant is usually good, but unfortunately, my last two experiences with the service have been terrible. It seems like the waitress forgot to place our order in the kitchen, resulting in a 40-minute wait. I had to wait over an hour with my hungry 5-year-old, who was running out of patience. When our food finally arrived, we felt rushed to finish because the staff wanted to close. It was awkward trying to eat while they waited for us to leave. We didn't even take 10 minutes to eat, and it was only 7pm. Overall, I did not enjoy this experience.
The staff at this restaurant is amazing, and the food is delicious. Everyone is so friendly. I have been coming here for years and they have always provided excellent service.
We made a great pit stop on our road trip in New York at Circle E. The food was delicious, the service was friendly, and the diner atmosphere was classic. We recommend stopping by if you're passing through the area. It's worth the drive off the interstate. The charming river town had a lot to offer for adventurers and felt like a hidden gem. The old town was adorable, and we would love to visit again.

Will recommend this place to anyone looking for great freshly prepared food and a friendly atmosphere. it is in the regular full of natives, but that is because aside.
This was a very unique diner very clean the waitress is very nice and friendly. the service and the door are exceptional we recommend this place 100%. we will.

Comfort eating right. Surprisingly, this was not listed on diners drive gas stations and dives. but it should have been. the engraving is my favorite.
When travelling across New York State I always enjoy dropping by this diner, located in the beautiful Catskill Mtn. region. Hancock is well located right by Interstate 86 and is a pleasant little town (village) in idyllic mountainous countryside. The diner takes you back to the fifties, a bygone era, with its atmosphere and down-home cooking with attentive waitresses. Relaxed and friendly, as is the village itself.
