Some of the sandwiches we... read more Nice hometown diner in the heart of Hancock, NY. We met some family here to catch up. Service was great. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Some of the sandwiches we ordered were the Burger and Fries, BLT and the Sportsman breakfast, which consisted of 2 eggs, 2 stripsof bacon, 2 sausage links, 2 pancakes, home fries toast. The food was served hot and was very tasty. The bacon could have been crispier home fries could have been a little browner. Then again it was lunchtime and I should have ordered a sandwich. We definitely will be stopping here again for our next meet-up.

It seems like the waitress forgot to place our order in the kitchen, resulting in a 40-minute wait. I had to wait over an hour with my hungry 5-year-old, who was running out of patience. When our food finally arrived, we felt rushed to finish because the staff wanted to close. It was awkward trying to eat while they waited for us to leave. We didn't even take 10 minutes to eat, and it was only 7pm. Overall, I did not enjoy this experience.

We re... read more We made a great pit stop on our road trip in New York at Circle E. The food was delicious, the service was friendly, and the diner atmosphere was classic. We recommend stopping by if you're passing through the area. It's worth the drive off the interstate. The charming river town had a lot to offer for adventurers and felt like a hidden gem. The old town was adorable, and we would love to visit again.
