Fresh made family style food?fast and attentive service! (Get there early though) Best Cou try Fried steak I?ve ever had and all the rest of theitems are great as well?oh yea?real Banana pudding (southerners know what I?m talking about) Shirley?s will be a regular stopfor us on future trips to the lake.

I ordered the fri... read more Looking back on my first visit to Shirley's, I wish I had inquired more beforehand. The food was decent but didn’t fully meet my expectations. I ordered the fried chicken expecting the traditional dish, but was surprised when I got two boneless chicken breasts instead. I’m not a big fan of chicken breasts, boneless or not. On the bright side, the pineapple and cheese casserole was delicious and a highlight of my meal.

It’s a buffet where you pick what you like, and they keep replenishing until you’re satisfied. Although it might not be the cheapest option, it’s definitely worth it if you can get a seat. I strongly suggest trying it—it’s a great value for both your time and money!

I had the fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and pineapple cheese casserole, and every dish was fantastic. The attentive staff made our visit even better. We truly enjoyed our time at Shirley's.
