I had the fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and pineapple cheese casserole, and every dish was fantastic. The attentive staff made our visit even better. We truly enjoyed our time at Shirley's.

However, it's become a bit more expensive than it was a few years ago when it felt more like an authentic local eatery. The owner's son has taken over management, but Sherly, the heart and soul of the restaurant, truly makes you feel at home! Unfortunately, some of its family charm has faded. The parking lot can get quite congested, sometimes resembling a busy Walmart, with cars from North Carolina and other places circling around. If you appreciate generous portions and tasty cuisine, make sure to bring your credit card and check us out in the neighborhood!
