The owner let us sample a few of the sides when we came in which we thought was cool. The string beans, collards, and corn bread were some of out favorites. We got a lot of food for the price and the Owner was extremely friendly and welcoming.

While some of their specialties include bone-in pork chop, chicken... read more Located in Hampton, this cozy restaurant serves up a delicious mix of soul food and seafood. While some of their specialties include bone-in pork chop, chicken and waffles, and liver and pig feet, I personally don't eat the latter. However, the fried chicken and fish were tasty and not greasy. The mac and cheese could have been improved, but the greens were decent. Despite a bit of a wait for our food, it was definitely worth it. This place is open for business as advertised on social media, with excellent service to top it all off.

Never...and I do mean NEVER again based strictly on this reason and I will be sure to share the story of my experience with friends and family. Unapologetically unprofessional. That's never a good look for any business. The only thing that was at least responsible about staff was that everyone wore a mask. Other than that, unbelievably careless.
