Was Anonym at The Roxburgh a mag?
I met friends here for lunch. A lovely old house converted into a café. Wrought iron fence out the front, an inviting open fire in one of the rooms (not sure if there's any in other rooms). A limited lunch menu, with things like soup, quiche etc.. They're homemade pumpkin soup was thick and creamy, the sausage rolls are large and tasty and come with or without salad. A good selection of cakes/slices and coffee for af... View all feedback.

What Anonym dislikes about The Roxburgh:
We visited here about 3yrs back and I had an awesome hot chocolate. So on returning to Hamilton I suggested we return. Only downfall is that we got there 20mins prior closing. I understand they no doubt had already cleaned their machines . However we were not even approached. I young guy came in and cleared a table and just ignored us, even offering takeaway cold drinks and cake to purchase would of been polite. Sham... View all feedback.

Good spot in Hamilton to grab a coffee ☕️ haven't tried the pizza yet but looks good too! Friendly staff and central location.

A good selection of cakes/slices and coffee for afternoon tea including a decadent white hot chocolate. You order and pay at the counter at the back. A nice place for something to eat, probably better suited for afternoon tea than lunch due to limited menu.

I had a coffee and tea, both of which were delicious. I would not recommend the pork dumplings as there wasn't much pork in them and they were extremely salty. Our server passed by our table multiple times but never asked about our meal. Overall, the service was lacking. The atmosphere of the restaurant was good. This was a dine-in lunch experience with prices ranging from A$1 to A$20 per person. The food was rated a 1, while the service and atmosphere were rated a 4.
