We went here for dinner as a family with three kids who were very welcomed. They had a special - two pastas for $25. The meals were enormous and the pasta was amazing. The service was very friendly without being over the top. We will definitely come here again. View all feedback.

No Effort No Flavour. Our first visit and only night as a stop over. We googled and most (older reviews) gave Izzy's Taven good reviews. We were excited and ordered a wine beer to kick off what we thought would be a delicious meal. Entree dips pita. The pita had been fried in a pan of oil. Why? Delicious food from a wide selection on the menu. From the moment we walked in we felt welcomed and received relaxed and personal service.The portions were very generous and simply complimented the quality of the food. Perfect for me as I was fuelling up for a half marathon run the next day and my partner enjoyed an equally tasty meal and a glass of red from the well chosen wine list. We will certainly go back if we visit Hamilton again.

Great food in a relaxed atmosphere. Went their based on a recommendation from a Motel where we were staying and thank them for the recommendation. Try the sea food it is great. Will be back next time we are in Hamilton.
It was great to find such a quality restaurant when most were closed. The interior is classy with interesting artworks all around. We were given drinks menu on arrival, but it took a while for the food menu to be brought out. It was a little too dark where we were, at the back. Our steaks were well cooked to order and we really enjoyed our meals which were very well presented. Our sparkling wine was lovely, served in gorgeous champagne coupes (unusual these days). Will visit when in Hamilton again.
