This was my first experience trying Jianbing, despite having visited China three times. I really enjoyed the tuna option. The crisp layers added a fantastic texture. The service was efficient, with the food being prepared right in front of us. However, it would be nice if the staff were a bit friendlier, perhaps with a greeting or a smile. I’m quite surprised they don’t have more locations in the Greater Toronto Area.
I had my first experience at Janbingo, and I was not let down. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. If you visit, you must try the handmade grape drink!
I've been dining here for a few months now, and each time the food is fresh and delicious. They prepare everything right in front of you while you wait. It's one of the best lunch spots in the city for under $10. Definitely worth a visit!
The owner, Nico, was incredibly attentive to my questions and provided clear answers. I ordered the super authentic classic (2 eggs, 2 meats), and it was an outstanding jianbing! Since Nico is from Beijing, they truly know their craft. Watching them prepare the dish right in front of me made for a delightful experience. I would highly recommend this place!
Whenever I'm in Hamilton, I always make it a point to stop by JanBingo. The food is fantastic and the staff are amazing. I'm continually astonished that they're located in a food court rather than having standalone restaurants across Ontario because this place is truly exceptional! Be sure to visit JanBingo the next time you’re in the area!
