Have dined here a few times. Usually when we can't unanimously decide on a restaurant! Friendly staff seem to be the same people working before the renovations, now a different name. What Auðbjörn Geirhjörts likes about Ben Than Veit-THai Restaurant:
The green curry was pretty good - somewhat of a small portion. The "Deep Fried Cubed Tofu with a Ring of Broccoli topped with Black Bean Sauce" was excellent - great taste and the portion was massive! Our server was nice. The restaurant is modern and chic. View all feedback.

read moreLocated on James Street, this recently renovated restaurant offers a clean, modern atmosphere with friendly service. The menu is an eclectic mix of South Asian cuisine including pho, Chinese, and dim sum. Dishes like shrimp dumplings, avocado beef roll, and sate chicken soup with rice noodles are standouts, while the green curry is good if a bit small. For those seeking reliable takeout or generous portions, dishes like green or yellow curry, chicken pad Thai, and basil fried rice are recommended. Despite some service mishaps, the food quality and speed of service make it a solid choice for Thai and Vietnamese cuisine lovers.
