Told there was no hot food, then stood there as they made the next customer hot food. May as well have thrown my food at me, no words exchanged, no thank you, no goodbye, no thank you for buying lunch and drinks for 6 people from us. Then as we were sat outside, with 30 minutes until close, they began obnoxiously packing away the outside tablets and ripping the signs up. Wouldn’t return

I had a lovely strong cup of tea (not as easy to find in Yorkshire as it ought to be) and a lovely breakfast roll with sausages. There is a lovely atmosphere at this cafe. The food is made on the premises and, indeed, the gentleman was preparing fresh sausage rolls when I went there. I will definitely visit again.

A tall, aggressive man began shouting and demanding to be referred to as a woman, despite his obvious gender. The staff remained calm, served him his food that he had ordered earlier, and swiftly escorted him out of the restaurant. Their professionalism was greatly appreciated.
