Fat chips (normally I prefer thin) we’re very tasty and again not greasy but reasonably crispy. Feeling nice and full and pleased i didn’t get the large fish as often they’re just too big! I’ve tried Bradley’s and White Horse and these were the best by far. And a better price too at just £6.20. Can highly recommend! Service: 5

The portion of fish... read more The restaurant greeted us warmly with friendly staff who were very helpful. All the food we ordered arrived at the same time, hot and fresh. The portion of fish and chips with mushy peas and homemade tartar sauce was delicious. The prawn cocktail was generous with plenty of prawns, no skimping here. The scampi with chips and peas was also satisfying. Overall, it was a great dining experience and we will definitely be returning.

The t... read more We (my wife and I) decided to stay in the Katch hotel on a Saturday night. The rooms were large, well lit and very clean. The bathroom and shower were OK. The temperature control was a little tricky in the shower but could be set to a nice temperature with a little bit of patience and persistence. Now, for the bad points. The rooms were very noisy, slamming doors and loud conversations internally. Externally the noise coming from the courtyard was horrific, screeching, screaming and loud drunken conversations until well after 3am. If you want a good night 's sleep, go somewhere else, unless you are likely to be clubbing until the early hours.
