Was Anonym at Katch a mag?
for two nights the room remained large, clean, warm quiet. the only subordinate point was that the bathroom had no heating, so it was very cold when from a hot shower. maybe a heated towel rail on the wall near the shower would help (the electric feed of plugs on the other side of the wall.) a night in the restaurant had a nice fish cure. the personal was very attentive. we have not made the short walk along the road... What Anonym dislikes about Katch:
four of us each had another main course; lemon sole, sea trout, seafood linguine and seafood curry and we all agreed that each of them was delicious and good value. will we have been back? View all feedback.

The restaurant greeted us warmly with friendly staff who were very helpful. All the food we ordered arrived at the same time, hot and fresh. The portion of fish and chips with mushy peas and homemade tartar sauce was delicious. The prawn cocktail was generous with plenty of prawns, no skimping here. The scampi with chips and peas was also satisfying. Overall, it was a great dining experience and we will definitely be returning.
We (my wife and I) decided to stay in the Katch hotel on a Saturday night. The rooms were large, well lit and very clean. The bathroom and shower were OK. The temperature control was a little tricky in the shower but could be set to a nice temperature with a little bit of patience and persistence. Now, for the bad points. The rooms were very noisy, slamming doors and loud conversations internally. Externally the noise coming from the courtyard was horrific, screeching, screaming and loud drunken conversations until well after 3am. If you want a good night 's sleep, go somewhere else, unless you are likely to be clubbing until the early hours.
We visited this restaurant for a light lunch and had a great experience. It was a bit quiet, but that was expected since it was a Tuesday. The staff were friendly and the service was fast. I would definitely come back again as it offers good value for money!
Unfortunately had the worst meal ever and have been a few times. I had gammon egg pineapple and chips. the gammon was like leather and the chips looked like they had scraped the barrel. All I got was an apology
This restaurant is a hidden gem that serves amazing fish and chips. The staff is friendly and welcoming, making our dining experience enjoyable. We have been visiting North Allerton for years and only recently discovered this place, which has now become our go-to spot. The food is of amazing quality and the staff is absolutely fantastic. The restaurant is also clean and well-maintained. Highly recommended!

Went here for a quick dinner with friends, the fish and chips were beautiful, loads for your money. Highly recommend. Service: 5 Location: 5
Just had a small Cod Chips and it was spot on! Nice sized fish, lovely white meat and batter not greasy. Fat chips (normally I prefer thin) we’re very tasty and again not greasy but reasonably crispy. Feeling nice and full and pleased i didn’t get the large fish as often they’re just too big! I’ve tried Bradley’s and White Horse and these were the best by far. And a better price too at just £6.20. Can highly recommend! Service: 5
Called in with my family for a lunch break from shopping. What a lovely place. The staff are very friendly and the food delicious I had small fish and chips the perfect size. The fish was white as white and the batter lovely and crispy. The chips were crispy and ungreasy and to top it all real! Mushy peas. Service: 5 Location: 5

We had fish and chips and it was good. I'd like to have some gourmets, but they don't. very pleasant 60s music playing and the staff are welcoming and friendly.
I went in with my wife with fish and chips. the personal was really nice. the presentation was great. the taste was from this world. I felt like a child who first had fish and chips. To finish it all was their tarta sauce. it was great from this world. I had to ask for another dish sauce for my food. the best tarta sauce I've ever had.
