Hume's Bakery - Halstead

If I didn't die from one, I'd be down there every day. fantastic selection, always fresh and the window presentation is always tempting. personal favorit must be the castor.

Friendly staff and good selection. Sausage rolls could be bigger but just means I had to buy 2 so not a problem.

I love Humes as it provides high quality bread and cakes every visit. The staff are friendly and helpful and they worked throughout lockdown despite the risks so we could continue to get our bread. They are a welcoming and much loved part of Halstead and I hope they will continue to bake for the town for many years to come.

Absolutely great little bakery, have to get there early so that they don’t sell out of the best bits. The synthetic cream donuts are the best I have ever had, the jam donuts are amazing and the sausage rolls are my complete favourite. The staff are friendly and the prices are very reasonable, definitely recommend!

I want to express my gratitude for the wonderful birthday cake we received. It was almost too beautiful to eat, but we couldn't resist! The sponge was light, and the lemon cream had just the right amount of sweetness.
