Wild Leek is a small, cozy vegan restaurant with a menu offering a variety of tasty and healthy options. Customers rave about the flavorful dishes, with particular praise for the lentil curry soup and dragon sauce. While some find the prices a bit high, most agree that the food is worth it. The restaurant also offers gluten-free options and a range of baked goods. Overall, Wild Leek is a popular spot for vegans and non-vegans alike, with convenient takeout options and a welcoming atmosphere that keeps customers coming back for more.

I took my three teens here while on vacation and we loved it! We enjoyed the Bliss Bowl, Wild Bowl and Grilled Veggie sandwich. We all left there satisfied and happy with the dishes we chose. For dessert we shared the almond butter cups which were melt in your mouth goodness! Highly recommend this spot if you want a vegan, comfort food meal!

I went here one day when I wanted freshly squeezed juice and was not disappointed! The juice I ordered contained beet, apple, celery, and carrot, which was freshly squeezed upon me placing my order. The juices are expensive, but not unreasonable for freshly squeezed juice.

Pros to Wild Leek: The food is decently priced for the portion size. There are more affordable than Envie. I had the veggie deluxe sandwich, chocolite smoothie, and a double chocolate cupcake. I wasn't a huge fan of the feta for the sandwich, as it was just marinated tofu, but the baguette, roasted veg and sauce was delicous. Our server was friendly. Cons to Wild Leek: They have a very small menu, I would love to see them expand more main options.

Returning to Wild Leek as we work our way through their breakfast menu this is Installment #2) we settled on the Breakfast Bowl for myself, and my partner had the Daily Benny. My Breakfast Bowl seitan bacon, roasted potatoes, sautéed mushrooms onions, kale, toasted sesame seeds, dragon sauce) was oh, so satisfying as a savory breakfast feast. The kale was tender and clearly steamed with care. I'm usually not one to seek out meat-type vegan replacement foods but I can tell you, I'm a fan of the seitan bacon! It was chewy and flavourful and there were 3 big hunks of the stuff. The potato-mushroom-onion fried hash under the kale was decadent. I slathered it with the piquant dragon sauce. My partner's Daily Benny chef's selection of seasonal vegetables on toasted english muffin, eggy patty, house made hollandaise sauce served with roasted potatoes or salad) was ridiculously good and mimicked a traditional eggs benny, without the fatty, meaty, creamy caloric bomb that comes with an egg-based version. The muffin was the white and chewy-puffy type you can really sink your teeth into. The season veg on top was very lighlly wilted small leaf spinach, and added flavour texture and a great fresh colour. The Hollandaise ish) sauce had an excellent flavour and creamy smooth texture. Her side of roasted potato was perfectly cooked and crying out for a traditional shot of ketchup! Coffee was hot and black and water refills were delivered with a smile and a friendly little chat about hiking at Polly's Cove. Prices are excellent for this quality of food $13 and $13.50). Can't wait for Installment #3!

The baked goods are often quite good, but the restaurant's food tends to lack flavor. The staff is friendly, and everything is usually prepared quickly. I wouldn't recommend dining in with a group, but it's a great place to grab a quick treat.
