I brought my folded electric scooter inside—carried by hand, not ridden—just to have coffee with a friend. About an hour later, a uniformed security guard approached our table and rudely asked me to leave, saying I had been “sitting with it too long with the scooter.” The scooter was folded and not obstructing anything. There were no signs or clear policies about scooters being prohibited. I felt embarrassed and uncomfortable. If I had reacted to his tone, it could have escalated unnecessarily. It made me wonder if strollers or large bags would be treated the same way. It’s upsetting to be treated like this as a paying customer. Th... read more I brought my teenagers to Uncommon Grounds for ice cream and left very satisfied. They offer a nice variety with generous portions, all at reasonable prices. Their baked goods are delicious, and the coffee is impressive. The only downside was the limited selection of cold beverages. A big thank you to the outstanding woman working the counter on Saturday, July 12—she was friendly, efficient, and professional. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
