Turkish Delight - Halifax

They took almost an hour to even start serving the food which were cold a... read more Yesterday we re-visited the restaurant. Took a group of 11 friends and family with me. They took almost an hour to even start serving the food which were cold and scanty in amount. We had to ask them a lot of times to give us required plates and cutlery and when they gave us, the food already became cold and inedible. We had to ask them two times to warm up the same lentil soup which was served cold and also became cold on our table as we were not given any spoons to eat it in first place . The quality of food has also decreased so did the quantity. The worst part is that they tried to avoid our whole table when they knew that it is getting late and we started to look a bit frustrated. When I said if I can talk to some one, they said that there is no one to talk to. A restaurant which does not know who is running the day. Last year when I visited I gave it a 4.3 rating. My children liked it ,so did my wife and I. Really strange how quickly impressions change.. Me along-with the 3 families that I took with me are not going back to a place which used to be one of our most favourites. Halifax is growing and so are our options....

Excellent cus... read more Immediately as I walked in I could tell from the decor and atmosphere that it was a Turkish Restaurant! The server greeted me and was very polite. Excellent customer service while taking my order and explaining some of the dishes. Food came out at a good time since I placed my order, it was hot, and delicious! Observing other patrons, I noticed the staff also showed them the respect and professionalism they showed me. The meal was reasonably priced and what you would expect. I recommend this restaurant to anyone especially anyone wanting to try Mediterranean food for the first time as the staff know their food and can tell you what is in the dish you may inquire about.

The only recent downfall is they raised the price which justifies. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
