Went to Trapeze for lunch on a week-day. Slow to be seated, which had us worried that lunch might be lengthy. Pleasantly surprised to have our orders completed promptly. Lovely Portobello burger with fries. Waitress was very understanding of food allergies at our table. She also understood that we were on a tight deadline, and brought our (separate) bills soon after delivering the food. Well done! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Trapeze Restaurant:
After spending some time at the Casino we stopped in for a bite and a drink. The food was good but the wine selection was sparse to say the least. When I did choose a wine it took forever to com and there was not very many people there that night! View all feedback.
I can't believe the Casino is still offering the Prime Rib and Lobster Tail special. With a Casino member card you will get this meal for $9.99 otherwise you'll pay $29.99. Everything is "all you can eat" except the lobster tails. You are allowed a maximum of 5, which is plenty. The first time I went in April I was disappointed with the prime rib. It was more of a thin slice of over cooked roast beef and the lobster seemed over cooked as well. This past weekend I took visiting relatives for the meal and was pleasantly surprised to find the quality of everything was much better. You must get there by 4 pm if you want to make it into the first sitting at 5 pm. The line up gets long very fast! Well worth the wait if you are a lobster fan. Not the same as cracking open a whole lobster yourself and enjoying the claw meat (my favorite part) but a wonderful treat for visitors from away!Kudos to our waiter, Adam, who was fast, efficient and friendly despite being run off his feet with the demands of so many hungry lobster lovers!!

This is a great restaurant even without taking advantage of a promotion, but when it is this good, it should not be missed. Tender Loin and Lobster Tail dinner. A great serving with potato and vegetable. But wait..... you can have extra tender loin and lobster x5. OH WOW!!!But, the special aside, the service is great. The menu is extensive. The prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is inviting. All with a view of the harbor. Perfect!
First off let me be clear I have only been there one time and only for the all you can eat buffet, so this is solely based on this. Lobster tails at the best of times are a poor substitute for fresh lobster. These were beyond unappetizing and in fact non of the 3 of us even finished one! We all like lobster so that was a disappointment. The beef on the other hand was tender and tasted decent. A bit salty for the sauce but over all good. It's not really a buffet they bring it to you which is good in some ways. The service is fast and the servers were professional and nice. However be warned if you want a seat you have to start lining up at 4pm they open at 5pm or you will have to get a pager and wait upwards of 1 hour after you wait to get a pager. I would recommend it for an evening out but not as a thing I would do regularly as the food is not worth the wait time for me. If your visiting NS and NB then save your casino visit for the Moncton Casino. Their buffet is amazing and better priced. They have all you can eat crab legs on Fri and Sat for $12 and they taste good! Theirs includes many selections , drinks (no alcohols)and desert. Expect wait times here to mainly only on Fri and Sat though. Both places you will need players card that is free. Both are 19 and over.
