Tim Hortons - Halifax
Tim Hortons
Description
Tim Hortons at the waterfront presents a dichotomy of experiences. While the vibrant atmosphere and scenic views offer a delightful escape, customer service has taken a hit. Many patrons reported rude staff interactions and a lack of professionalism, resulting in disappointing visits. Although the friendly and efficient team occasionally shines during busy hours, cleanliness remains a significant concern, with dirty tables detracting from the dining experience. While some guests enjoyed the quick service and delicious croissants, others left feeling overlooked and dissatisfied. Overall, this bustling location leaves much to be desired in service standards.

I just got a TIMBIT from Tim Hortons, and it seems like they were affected by another seal issue. Unfortunately, they didn’t have any options outside of that. I'm quite disappointed.
Absolutely disgusting. Upon entering, there was a strong odor reminiscent of a house. The floor was sticky, and trash was piling up. The staff was not overtly rude, but they definitely seemed angry or unfriendly while working.
This is a fantastic place to dine. Situated by the water, it offers a beautiful and calming atmosphere, perfect for escaping the hustle and bustle. There’s a wide variety of menu options, and plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. The staff was quick and attentive with our orders. Overall, the vibe of the place was very welcoming, and I would definitely return when we are in the area. Great job, everyone!
The service I received from the staff at this restaurant was completely atrocious. I ordered an iced coffee with milk and had to repeat myself twice to the order taker. When I received my iced coffee, I noticed that it was made with cream and politely asked one of the employees to remake my order. She immediately gave me attitude and insisted that the order was made correctly even though it very clearly was not. Not to mention that the condition and cleanliness of the store is inexcusable for a restaurant such as Tim Hortons. It is safe to say that I will not be returning to this location. Ordered merchandise food via the mobile app. When I arrived the merchandise was not available. I asked on-site staff how to get a refund. I was informed by on-site staff that since it was placed through the mobile app I needed to go through the mobile app to get a refund. When I attempted to go through the mobile app, I was told I needed to go to the store for a refund. No one has provided an alternative method for receiving a refund so Tim Hortons has stolen from me by not providing the services purchased. If on-site staff do not know policies and procedures and mobile applications are not representative of the supplies on-site it is not the responsibility of a customer to spend their time mediating between the two.
