She was friendl... read more We decided to have lunch here after our walk, and even though the pub was lively and packed, the sole server handled everything with such poise. She was friendly and upbeat, despite the busy environment. She promptly arranged a table for us, and we had a wonderful lunch. There were four of us, and we tried the delicious chowder, a tasty burger, and I had two amazing fish tacos—definitely the best I've ever tasted! The French fries were also fantastic—hot and crispy.

The food, drinks, and service were outstanding. The special—a pasta dish with curry maple sauce—was absolutely delicious. The location is convenient for me, but I find th... read more I've returned to this restaurant three times since my initial disappointing visit, and things haven't improved. The location is convenient for me, but I find the portion sizes to be small and the prices too high. I usually come with a group, and at least one person always ends up dissatisfied with their meal. My dad even described his steak sandwich as "the worst he ever had," while mine has consistently been just mediocre. During my most recent visit last week, there were only one or two other tables occupied when we arrived. We placed our order quickly and requested the bill as soon as we finished, yet it took an hour and a half just to get our main courses—far too slow. Additionally, they were out of several items from a menu that is already quite limited at only two pages. I think they need to decide on their direction: if they aim to be a fine dining pub, they need to improve the quality of their food. If not, then they should speed up the service and adjust the prices and portion sizes accordingly.
