Description

The Chicken Burger in Bedford, Nova Scotia, holds a special place in the hearts of locals and visitors for its nostalgic 50s vibe. While the iconic chicken burger may not be what everyone expects, the loose white meat in a steamed bun offers a unique taste. The menu features other delicious items, such as hamburgers and milkshakes. However, some feel the portion sizes could be more generous. Despite some shortcomings, the historic drive-in continues to attract customers seeking a taste of the past, though rising prices may deter some from indulging in the nostalgic experience.

Fantastic restaurant with delicious food and excellent service! Plus, the chicken burger supports a local racing division I compete in, and without their support, we wouldn't be able to continue. Highly recommend!

I was very disappointed with my experience. I asked for gravy on my burger but had to buy it separately. There was very little chicken on the burger, and the onion rings tasted like they were fried in old grease from last week.

I have been dining at The Chicken Burger since I was a young girl, and I have always enjoyed their food. When my husband asked me where I wanted to go for our anniversary dinner, the first place that came to mind was The Chicken Burger. Unfortunately, I was left disappointed with our experience. The hamburgers that used to be the best now taste like sawdust, to put it bluntly. It was a poor choice for our special occasion.

We went to the outdoor movie last night and had a fantastic time. I wish we had attended more of them over the summer, but I’m glad we made it to the last one!

Love the place, love the nostalgia, love the food, but can no longer afford. Inflation as run amok and although the Chick offers a nice, warm nostalgic vibe, there simply is no longer any way to enjoy the place, while maintaining any sort of fiscal responsibility. This will change nothing, of course, but alas, this is my rant.
