The place was very busy with take-out orders and dining in customers and not many staff but they managed okay. The ambiance is lacking but the food...and the prices are very good. Prefer that over great ambiance and awful food.

This location in Cole Harbour is a good option for vegans, as there aren't many other choices in the area. While their menu doesn't explicitly label vegan options, the servers are knowledgeable and willing to accommodate. I find the food to be just okay - the pad Thai isn't my favorite, but they offer fresh vegetable options that can be customized. The sauces could use more flavor in my opinion. The atmosphere at Talay Thai is also pleasant.
