I ordered a delivery dinner. I had spicy seafood ramen and tuna Takayuki. The food was amazing. I will definitely order from here again. If I have time I would like to dine in the restaurant. Had a mix up with my receipt upon delivery. The driver left and I noticed that he had my receipt. I called the restaurant and within minutes the driver came all the way back to my hotel to deliver my receipts. Great service. I t... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Tako Sushi & Ramen:
Tea cups: crusted on food, smushed bug on rim, took forever to get a new cup Tonkotsu ramen: noodles smushy (overcooked pork salty. Service: horrific. Only one waitress who was so slow... Had to go up and serve myself. Honestly just everything had issues that...overall made for a really hilariously bad lunch. Her: how was everything? Us: *silence Her: all done? They were very kind about the medical diet I am on and provided just soup broth. It was so good. I also loved eating here before my health declined.Editing to add that tako has been consistently kind and understanding about my medical diet which prevents me from eating solid food. I've ordered every other week for the past few months and they have been great.
We have been their loyal customers for about seven years. Unfortunately we have decided never going back.Few observations:Unstable quality especially for their Ramien. For the price they charge, noodles are either over cooked or too little in quality. Soup has been watered down over the years. Today we went, soup tasted like water. Flavourless and thin. They even cheap out on giving the soup to customers. Soup was so little that it looked like dried noodles when it was served today. It was so bad that we suffered through itWe will not go back there anymore. Doesn’t worth the money and feel like being scammed.
Food quality was not as good as we expected. Yesterday we just had very good experience in Japanese food in Restaurant Big Bowl in Moncton. We were hoping this would be similar, but the food quality is kinda disappointing. I wouldn 't recommend this restaurant.
This was my favourite restaurant in Halifax. The food is always amazing. The chef and cooks are very talented. Unfortunately, in recent months the service has been absolutely abysmal. Seated with no menus, takes 30 minutes to get water, food arrives before drinks and cutlery. Really hoping this changes so we can continue enjoying this awesome restaurant!
It was our first trip to Halifax and the first Japanese restaurant we visited. Tako Sushi Ramen is a friendly place!We got a Green Dragon Ninja roll and 2 types of Ramen: Seafood Hokkaido. It was awesome! Hokkaido ramen recommend for all who are fans of spicy food! Seafood ramen (scallops, shrimps, calamari just ?The dish was so big; we were unable to finish it ?The sushi was delicious and super fresh!I highly recommend trying this place out!
