Great place! I've been so many times maybe too many times? : I would even go so far as to say these are some of the best tacos I've ever had! However I was very disappointed with the customer service today when my coworker and I arrived at Taco Lina's at11:45 and were told we could not order the lunch special until 12 pm. I know rules are rules but I found this to be a bitridiculous considering this has never been an issue before. My coworker and I decided to go elsewhere today but I'm sure we willbe back. I am not about to give Taco Lina's a less than 5 star review because of one bad experience due to the other 10 great 5star experiences I've had there. :
Amazing tacos! The Barbacoa and the fried chicken taco were my favorite, and easily the best nachos in the city. Get the flour tortilla!
Cute atmosphere, friendly service. Tacos were good but not amazing. Wasn't enough topping for me, 1 small cilantro leaf is not enough. Fish taco was by far the best taco. Seems cheap at $5 a taco but to be full you have to eat 3 or 4.
I've always been a fan of Gus', and now with the addition of tacos, it's even better! I really enjoyed my baja fish taco and fried avocado taco, both served on soft corn tortillas. The place still has that classic Gus' atmosphere but with a fun Mexican twist. I also love the extensive selection of hot sauces and salsas you can add as condiments.
