Our group made a reservation for New Year's Eve at 8 PM, but by 9:30 PM, we were informed that our table was needed for another party, despite having already sp... read more Our group made a reservation for New Year's Eve at 8 PM, but by 9:30 PM, we were informed that our table was needed for another party, despite having already spent a considerable amount on food and drinks. We were taken aback because our reservation didn't specify a time limit, and had we known, we would never have booked. No other tables were asked to move, even those that had been there before us. We requested to remain at our table and reminded the server that we had only been there for an hour and a half, but she was indifferent to our concerns. We were then moved to a small standing table right by the door. Once the group that took over our original table relocated to another spot, we were offered our old table back, but by that point, our entire evening was ruined. It is simply unacceptable to rush a group out of their table after just an hour and a half on New Year's Eve. I cannot recommend Bar Sofia and won't be returning. This was a deeply disappointing experience.

Other than that, everything was excellent! I can’t wait to return after the renovations!

The restaurant was nearly empty, yet they seated us right next to another group instead of spacing us out. Perhaps they anticipated that the restaurant would fill up quickly, but it didn’t.
