Unfortunately, she never returned to take our... read more Once settled, we were having a good time. A server came to take our drink orders, and we asked for water to start. Unfortunately, she never returned to take our actual beverage order, and no one came back to refill our water during the meal. We ordered our food and decided to share a salad. About half an hour later, the server finally came back to ask if we wanted the salad served with our main dishes, which we agreed to. It’s astonishing to wait half an hour for a starter salad when there was only one other table to serve. The main course arrived almost immediately after the salad, which meant we received everything at once, even though that wasn’t what we’d requested. I had the mixed plate; the minced meat was delicious, but the cubes of meat were overcooked and dry. My partner ordered the lamb skewer, and hers was also quite dry. I believe it was a mistake to include this restaurant in the top 50 list; there's no way it should be compared to the others in that category. While the salad and side dishes were good, the main components and service were subpar. The restaurant feels like it’s still finding its rhythm, perhaps due to being new and having inexperienced staff. Overall, it was disappointing and doesn’t live up to the hype.

It’s hard to find that th... read more This was our second time at Smyrna. The food and service is top notch. Our server was incredible. Very efficient, friendly and caring. It’s hard to find that these days so it is greatly appreciated. Can’t wait to go back.
