I had a disappointing experience at Omelet Brunch Munch due to the rude behavior of our waitress. She slammed the menu on our table without saying a word and kept talking on her phone. We tried to give her the benefit of the doubt, thinking it might have been an urgent call. However, after finishing her call, she left without acknowledging us. It makes me wonder if the staff are underpaid or simply lack proper customer service training. The management really needs to address this and ensure their staff provide better service. Overall, my visit was far from satisfactory, and I hope improvements are made for future guests. Service: 1 star.
At 11:00 AM, the restaurant was completely empty, which we thought was a good sign since it had just opened. After waiting more than 5 minutes, the hostess finally seated us. We ordered a simple bagel with egg and an egg, sausage, and home fries dish, which came to $35. We were shocked to find the eggs overcooked, the potatoes were just frozen hash browns, and the sausages were the same. Unfortunately, the food was well below our expectations and way overpriced. I do not recommend this place. Service: 2 Food: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Price per person: $30–40 Meal type: Breakfast
Omelet Brunch Munch is my favorite spot for brunch. The food is incredible—I’ve only tried the Ultimate Skillet, and it’s hands down the best I’ve had, even better than Cora’s. The prices on the menu are very reasonable, and the quality beats anything else I’ve found in Halifax. The waitress was lovely and made the experience even better. I also appreciate that mimosas are available on the menu. The cozy atmosphere adds to the charm, and having a billiards club next door is a nice bonus. Plus, they offer a student discount on Thursdays, which is great. Highly recommend! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dish: Ultimate Skillet
