Was Linda P at May Garden a mag?
We wanted to get ahead of the lunch crowd and three of us ordered combination plates. I had the one with almond chickens guy ding/ss chicken/bf rice and an egg roll. My husband's was based on beef chow mien and our niece had one based on chicken chow mien. Egg rolls are fabulous there and all of us had great food hot and exceptionally large portions on a platter. The decor and cleanliness of May Garden is great. The food and the service was nothing to complain over. The food was good Chinese food. We each tried combination plates. The food could have been hotter. The taste was average. The same with the service. Again, not really anything to complain about; but, nothing to shout about either. View all feedback.
I'll start off by saying that we were a bit disappointed with our recent visit.
Best Chinese restaurant in HRM food is great and staff is awsome. Amanda was great and made our visit great. Will definitely be back.
The ginger beef was excellent, the fried rice was tasty as always and the egg rolls are my favorite.
We eat at the Halifax Casino May Garden regularly. This was our first visit to the Bedford May Garden. Food and service were really good. All food hot, generous and tasty. We will return. They do not offer desserts, odd for a dine-in restaurant.
I ordered takeout from this restaurant and was extremely impressed with the freshness, temperature, and quality of the food. It was also delicious and reasonably priced. The service was friendly and I didn't have to wait long to pick up my order.
