First, the service was so good. We went for a small girls night and our waiter understood everything we needed. She had a lot of knowledge about all the options on the menu. I had the lemon drop martini all night at her recommendation! The food was awesome. The calamari was my one of my favourites in Halifax. It stands out because it is saucy! The pasta (Tortelloni) was super creamy and packed with flavour! I’m still obsessed with vodka sauce so I love having it any chance I get. All the dessert were amazing! We all got a different one to be able to try. The lemon tart was my definitely my favourite! I would highly recommend! Price per person: $100+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Staffs are very kind to customers and knowledgeable. Parking is available on the side of the building. A nice Italian restaurant in Halifax area. They also have a great select... read more I have eaten at Mappatura twice now and I am blown away! The service was exceptional on both occasions and the food was delicious! They also have a great selection of Italian wines. While the kitchen may not be suitable for those with celiac disease due to airborne flour, they took every precaution to ensure my meals were gluten-free and I did not get sick either time. I am eagerly looking forward to my next visit!

I was initially worried about feeling rushed because of the limited hours of operation, but that was not the case at all. Every dish I ordered was fantastic, and I want to give a shoutout to the chef for the amazing flavors. Although I didn't catch my server's name, she was incredibly attentive. The only downside was the noise level, as the small space made it a bit loud. Overall, a great dining experience.
