Me and my 2 friends from over 30 years reunited and thought that we'd go to the Lower Deck. We were excited as we were previous bar staff back in the 90's at some great bars. We were not aware of this rule of not being able to dance on the dance floor. My friend went up to dance and she immediately was approached by a female door person who said that she was kicking her out. We had no idea about this rule. Anyhow, the music was good but I would recommend going somewhere else. Price per person: CA$40–50 Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

There are two different servers, one for food and one for drinks. The food server came first, listed the beers on tap, and then said she only deals with food and we needed to order drinks from someone else. The drink server came and said we could only have a choice of 4 Keith’s product beers on the patio. Since the food server had offered us Stella, apparently mistakenly, they agreed to bring it from inside the restaurant as some kind of exception. The food server took our order for a burger and then came back to say they did not have cheddar cheese, and needed to substitute. We waited a long time for our food, and the fries had obviously been under the heat lamps for quite a while.

Small variety of drinks, good prices. But the DJ... really really boring. People wanted to dance, didn't dance more than 2 or 3 songs, then they left. We left too, very disappointed. The band that playing that night was exc... read more I mean what can you say about this iconic location. We went for supper and a beer but ended up staying until last call. The band that playing that night was excellent and once the place got busy we just ended up staying. Despite the place being extremely full the staff was attentive. I would not recommend this place to anyone who gets claustrophobic as once the band starts playing it is very hard to move. We were there on a Wednesday evening and it was a busy as a Friday night. Otherwise we had a great Night and of course I highly recommend the lower deck for a true maritime experience

Found a seat at the bar. I really wanted to name the bar tender but I didn't get his name. Short dark hair, clean cut. We ordered food which was exceptional, and for the next 3hrs, the service, even though it was totally packed, was 10 star. Our drinks were never empty. We will definitely return and look for this bar tender! Also, this was Sunday July 29th 2018 never knew a Sunday night would be so hopping!
