Buddy at the counter didn't seem convinced this was the best place but it was recommended. Dropping down to 1* .. after the rest of my trip, the greatest disappointment of lobster I had. Wish I skipped it. Literally everywhere else is better. I don't recommend. For $32 CAD market price it was basically a folded grilled cheese size snack. Maybe I'm not used to lobster this close to the ocean but it was so salty it ruined the experience. I had a half and half, and yea.. warm half wasn't very good cold salad half was ok but again ruined by salt. Travel on from this below average tourist hut. The menu focuses heavily on the daily market price of lobster, as nearly every dish features this seafood prominently. While the lobster roll might contain less meat than others, it shines for its balance, avoiding an overly creamy mayonnaise. Instead, it is perfectly complemented by a delightful mix of butter, garlic, lobster, and chives. This dish exemplifies how simplicity can truly elevate flavor. The bread is decent—fairly standard—but remains crispy and golden. Be prepared for a potentially long wait, as the rolls are made in batches; you might wait around 10 minutes, or you could be served right away. They also include Canadian chips on the menu, which is a nice touch that supports local businesses!
I stood in line at this food stall on the boardwalk, and it was absolutely worth the wait. They serve a classic lobster roll, which is priced according to the current market rate, typically ranging from $25 to $30. Each lobster roll comes with your choice of a bag of chips or coleslaw. The lobster itself was incredibly tasty and satisfying. Enjoy your meal, everyone!
The lobster roll was priced at $29, which feels fair given that lobsters are currently out of season. I would describe it as a light lunch; it had a fresh flavor, and the bun was wonderfully soft. The staff at the front desk were very welcoming, and I only had to wait about five minutes.
