Cosy Snack Bar - Halifax
Cosy Snack Bar
Description
Located on Liverpool Street, this family-style restaurant has been a local favorite for almost 30 years. Despite the consistent customers, the breakfast options have been described as mediocre with overcooked eggs and processed cheese. Some guests have complained about the overcooked food and unappetizing hollandaise sauce. On the other hand, positive reviews highlight the delicious and affordable grilled haddock, fish and chips, and friendly service. While some patrons have expressed disappointment with the decline in service quality and lackluster flavors, others have praised the welcoming atmosphere and generous portions. Overall, this Ma & Pa operation is a place where you can enjoy a meal, engage in friendly conversations, and experience a bit of nostalgia reminiscent of the TV show "Cheers".

Good local cafe where we usually going for breakfast but can also serve lunch. The atmosphere is very special of the nethborhood and the place itself. It's been here forever so it doesn't require any advertising. Love it!?
First time, service was great food was excellent prices were fairThe only problem I had was all the Habs decor hahahaWill be back

Amazingly friendly, delicious food, massive servings! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
No pretensions at this local diner luncheonette. Sat at counter and throughly enjoyed the fish cakes (homemade) and eggs. Staff and onwer cook chef (I think) Tony were friendly and welcoming as we clearly weren’t neighborhood regulars. There are some buzzy places on the busier Quinpool Rd that do have good food, but this place is in a more residential area and is the real deal. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
