Feedback
Café Lunette offers a charming atmosphere with attentive service, yet opinions on the food quality vary significantly among patrons. While dishes such as the cheese and chutney starter, trout, and desserts earned praise for their preparation and flavor, some diners found certain items like poached cod and duck confit lacking in taste and execution. Furthermore, the pricing raised concerns, with some feeling it did not reflect the value received. Despite occasional menu shortages and mixed experiences with specific dishes, the overall ambience, music, and personalized service contribute to a welcoming dining experience, leaving many eager to return.
Our dining experience had both positive and negative elements. The ambiance was welcoming, and the staff remained friendly and attentive all night. Although we enjoyed our evening, I can't award Café Lunette a five-star rating because two of the dishes we wanted to order were unavailable. I understand that unexpected situations can cause shortages, but it was disappointing to learn of this only after we had placed our orders. This setback impacted our overall satisfaction, as we had to choose alternatives that didn't quite meet the expectations we had for the original items.
I started with the brioche served with tapenade, which was both unique and flavorful. For my main course, I had the Cordon Bleu, and it was incredibly tender and delicious, though the broccolini that came with it was a bit tough. The server was excellent.
The food arrived in a timely manner and was prepared to perfection. We enjoyed a cheese and chutney starter, followed by trout, pork, and some indulgent desserts: apple streusel and a delicious lemon treat. Adam attended to our table exceptionally well and was very personable. We will definitely recommend this place and look forward to returning!
The eggs benny coffee were delicious. Nice outdoor patio. Enjoyed the views my coffee. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $20–30
We went for brunch and had eggs benny, french onion soup and the classic.....eggs were cooked properly and bacon was really good and thick cut. Everything was under seasoned and the french onion soup was pretty meh with soggy bread. Cool 70s/art deco/feench mashup style and our server was good. Wouldnt go out of the way to try again.
