BKS est le speakeasy « sub rosa » de Muir – un lieu de distinction et de discrétion. Les invités pénètrent par une entrée privée dans un écrin de murs en bois courbés, de marbre tamisé, de banquettes luxueuses, avec accès à la terrasse privée la plus prisée de la ville, où le port semble presque à portée de main. Réservé exclusivement aux invités et clients de Muir. Le programme de cocktails et le menu du bar de BKS rendent hommage à son emplacement maritime, à l’histoire navale ainsi qu’aux influences continentales et mondiales. Une collection exigeante de cocktails d’inspiration historique, accompagnée d’un punch tournant évoquant l’époque de la prohibition à Halifax et du trafic de rhum, sont autant de clins d’œil à d’autres temps et lieux.

I took a mixology class at Bks Speakeasy with Elise, and we were absolutely impressed! The Red Sky cocktail quickly became my favorite. The patio offers stunning views of the harbor along with cozy fire pits, creating a perfect atmosphere. The menu features creative drinks that truly stand out. I can’t wait to visit again! Meh. I’ve been here a few times, and it’s always empty with little atmosphere. I’d skip it. It’s quiet and dull. There are plenty of livelier spots downtown that I’d recommend instead. Although it’s promoted as an “exclusive” venue, I’m from Oakville and didn’t really sense that special appeal. Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
