The first combo was a chicken burger with fries and a Coke, and the second was a beef burger with fries and a soft drink. The staff member at the window seemed focused on the beef burger, assuming my background meant I couldn't eat beef. I clarified that it was for my husband. However, when I got home, I found that the fries were missing, and instead of the beef burger, I received a fish burger. On top of that, the chicken patty was surprisingly hard. I called the restaurant right away, and the assistant manager asked me a series of questions, promising that the store manager would reach out. It's now been two days, and I still haven't heard anything back. This lack of follow-up is quite disappointing. To make matters worse, I noticed that I was charged more than the items I actually received. I hope these issues will be addressed and that there will be an improvement in customer service.

I'm not sure if they can it more obvious that the chicken strips are not really strips of chicken. They look really weird.

The service at the counter was average, but I expected more from a well-known fast-food chain like A&W. I understand that fast-food places can get busy, but maintaining a clean environment is crucial for customer satisfaction. I hope they improve in this area, as it greatly affects the overall dining experience. In summary, my experience at this A&W location in Canada was below par primarily due to cleanliness issues. The food and service were just okay. I would consider giving it another try in hopes of improvement, but for now, I can only give it a 2-star rating.
