It's too bad that the street is all torn up but that is not the fault of the business. The food was fine, we enjoyed the patio, our waitress was good, bathrooms were gross.

Could... read more This is an average pub, not fancy but I get the feeling that is the intent. Old characteristics which make it unique. Sit down bar plus tables and booths. Could be a party atmosphere on a busy night. Short menu but enough choices for most people. No parking.

I definitely understand why. Great rustic atmosphere with a true Haligonian spirit. I also had the lamb burger which was new to me; although I love lamb I had never had it ground. Perfectly seasoned, cooked and presented. That with a garden salad side and their house dressing made for the perfect return dinner.
