I’ve always received a warm welcome whenever I’ve visited. The service is excellent, and the food is outstanding. There’s a fantastic variety on the menu, and even though different restaurants in the city may offer the same or similar dishes, 7 Peppers Grill has a unique take on them that stands out. I had a terrible experience with the biryani I ordered for 16.20 CAD. I noticed the staff seemed to be of Turkish descent, which led me to order the biryani, but I was sadly disappointed. I understand that many people struggle to find food, and we should be grateful for what we have, but this restaurant feels like a scam. The food was extremely poor— the taste was disappointing and far from what biryani should be. Please don’t waste your money here; this is not authentic biryani. They seem to be frying the chicken, and the rice is nothing like traditional biryani should be.
Overall, I highly recommend Seven Spices to anyone seeking authentic Syrian cuisine. The quality of their food is exceptional, and I can't wait to return to explore more of their menu!
