Was Jed Toy at Larry's 1332 a mag?
I had a great conversation with the owners, who took the time to check in on us personally and answered all our questions about the menu. If you're in the area, you won't want to miss this lovely place for breakfast, lunch, or an early dinner, as they close at 5 PM. The next time we're in Kentucky, we will definitely be back! What a fantastic discovery! My parents and I had breakfast there tomorrow, and it was a delightful experience. Beverly was exceptionally kind and attentive. The menu offered a wide variety of options. I chose the Chesapeake breakfast dish, which had a generous amount of lump crab that was impressively large. It was absolutely perfect. I can't wait to return soon!
I was born and raised in Louisiana. I have a, let's say, several strong opinions, and a long history with shrimp and grits. I doubt I'll ever have the opportunity to sample the rest of their menu because I don't think I've had better in close to a decade. Everyone needs this in their life. This will be that dish I keep coming back to, mmph *chef's kiss*. I called my mother about these grits.
I’m so glad I persevered in finding this restaurant. The lovely lady I spoke to on the phone was just as warm and inviting in person. I ordered a shrimp and crab bowl, and she must have read my mind when she suggested the special drinks. I chose the peach rosemary lemonade, and it was fresh, delicious, and perfectly complemented my meal. I will definitely return and highly recommend this charming and cozy café to anyone looking for great food and service.
Delicious food. Small, cozy atmosphere. Reasonable prices. Friendly staff. Did I mention delicious food? Excellent crab/shrimp and grits. And I've always disliked (ok, hated) grits. But these were a totally different experience. Treat yourself to a wonderful afternoon lunch!
We saw the menu online and thought we 'd give this place a try. We were surprised to find this Gem located in the heart of the small downtown Arbutus area. Parking is a little limited but available. NOT wheelchair accessible. Menu was a combination of breakfast and lunch items. We had croissant sandwiches and really enjoyed them. I had the SMALLEST cup of my favorite soup, Cream of Crab, (I get it everywhere it 's available). I will say the creaminess was good but lacked flavor. It was served lukewarm. I was really disappointed. We noticed some other menu items being delivered; we want to go back and try them: (Chicken Waffles, Crunchy French Toast). It 's a really cute little place tucked away in Arbutus that 's worth a try. Service is a little limited. The hours of operation are limited, so please check. We 've been back a few times and tried the best Crunchy French Toast ever. We also have sent a lot of friends and family there, and they all loved the food.
