Tucked away on Old Street, The Road Trip and The Workshop transports guests to a retro roadside diner ambiance, highlighted by vibrant blue and red neon signs. The venue boasts a charming covered outdoor area perfect for enjoying drinks, while the dimly lit interior, accented by an ornate chandelier and quirky decor, adds to its unique character. Whether you’re there for hearty burgers and beers during a weekend footy match or indulging in delicious vegan options, the inviting atmosphere and friendly staff promise an enjoyable experience, despite some service hiccups. A worthwhile stop for anyone seeking a memorable outing.

This is a fantastic spot for a weekend watching sports, with delicious burgers, hot dogs, and beer on offer. The restaurant has several large screens throughout the venue, perfect for catching all the action. At night, the cellar opens up with a smaller bar and dance floor, and the best part is that it stays open late, making it the perfect spot to end your night out.

Don't miss out on the road trip and workshop experience when you're in the old town. The blue and red neon signs flashing "bar" and "diner" catch your eye and transport you back in time to a nostalgic roadside stop. There is a covered outdoor seating area for those who enjoy beer and cigarettes, with quirky decorations adding to the ambiance. The dimly lit interior features a large chandelier adorned with small gargoyles, creating a unique atmosphere. I highly recommend this place for a memorable dining experience.

You can't miss The Road Trip and the Workshop' if you're on Old Street. The blue and red neon signs flashing bar' and diner' repeatedly will catch your eye and take you back in time to some old road trip pit stop memory of yours. There's a covered outdoor seating space lined with creepers for those who enjoy their beer and cigarette (they have a pin up of a topless woman licking a record here, so head indoors if you find this offensive) and an outre interior that is slightly shabby albeit with a gothic vibe. Dimly lit (extremely dimly), the first thing that caught my eye was the large chandelier adorned with what looked to be small gargoyles. So far, I'm liking this place.

This restaurant is really cool. I've been to some dive bars in places like Vegas, and they've captured that vibe here pretty well. I happened to pass by on a Friday night for the first time in years, so I decided to stop in for a few beers. The outdoor seating area is a big plus, and they even have an early evening happy hour! The staff is friendly too.

I went the other day. The IPA was nice enough, staff were friendly and place had a nice vibe. Is also has a covered outside area which is a huge plus during these odd times when we have to drink outdoors in the cold English...summer. I was intrigued as to how it would be reviewed on TripAdvisor and their low ranking is ridiculous. Regardless of my good experience, I will go again purely for the wonderful responses from management to some very unfair reviews. Please keep them up, they made me giggle. And if anyone else goes to Roadtrip and feel the reviews are unfair then I’m sure that if you can write a nice one then would make a big difference given the huge hit our hospitality industry has taken
