No are conditioning availab... read more Calls itself a bar, kitchen, but customers can 't order at the par and have a discretionary 12.5% service charge. That is not a bar. No are conditioning available, despite it being a hot day and clearly having air conditioning units. No gluten free beer, which is unacceptable in 2023 London (especially Hackey).

Thin, unimaginative, overpriced, menu that doesn't favour non-meat-eaters and hasn't changed in many years. Some staff officious and unfriendly (though others are pleasant). So it's tolerable for al fresco drinking on a sunny afternoon as it has the best position on Broadway Market, but otherwise no. I wish owners/management would notice the poor reviews and up their game as it's a waste and a shame

Just gave up at this point ,very grabbing.

Our waitress was kind but had no control over the quality of the food or wait time (about an hour . I would avoid this cafe at all costs.

The... read more With a few friends, we decided to have some small plates and a few beers at Market Cafe. I tried this place three years ago and my opinion remains the same. The customer service was ok. Basic. No friendly and no smiling. Everything is quite overpriced from beers to food.
