We went on a Sunday to eat the typical English Sunday roast, and we were very surprised for good. I ordered the pork and my partner the veal and ate half of each, the veal was good, but the pork was spectacular. The site is cozy and friendly service.

The restaurant has a minimal, factory-style decor with air conditioning pipes on the ceiling, which creates challenging acoustics. This, combined with the music, can make it difficult to have a conversation and some may find it stressful. The tables are close together, adding to the noise levels. Where 'Jones Sons' shines is in the straightforward, no-nonsense food. The menu is simple with reasonable prices for a London restaurant. We all ordered the Rib Eye Beef with massive Yorkshire puddings and vegetables. With a carafe of wine, we paid £30.00 per person for a satisfying meal. The portions were generous and the beef was exceptional. The restaurant was busy, so booking in advance is essential. The service was attentive and the food was well worth a visit. However, it is not a relaxing or intimate setting, but rather a place to enjoy good, uncomplicated food. For the price in North London, the quality of the food is exceptional.

10 people, a big table, every cocktail, every dish and the wines were great! Additionally perfect service! Happy evening!

If you enjoy dining in a faux-industrial setting with exposed pipework and wiring reminiscent of early-90s Soho, New York, then Jones and Sons is the perfect spot for you. While some may find the atmosphere a bit contrived, the attentive staff and hot food make up for it. We tried the Sunday roast, which was standard fare except for the standout Yorkshire pudding – large, doughy, and more like a savory muffin than the usual pillow of carbs. Despite feeling a bit rushed by the waiting staff, the restaurant was bustling with customers, indicating that Jones and Sons must be doing something right.
