What Carole Green dislikes about Hoxton Square And Kitchen:
I went there last year for my birthday. I was looking for a place which can accommodate 12-15 people. When we got there we realized it was just us in the restaurant so there was no need for reservation. I've realised later on that Sunday in Hoxton is very quiet, not many bars opened and the atmosphere in the whole area is so sad that I literally was depressed after that night. The food, as we expected came very quick... View all feedback.

Tod of burrito and square pizza are all cut off as kitchen resentments in the hoxton square bar and kitchen. this is a review of the current residency, smokey tails, an American BBQ community that I have been able to admire for some time at smokey tails, so I was quite disappointed today by my lunch. we have probably not ordered well and should hold to slow boiled red meat, that seems to be their specificity we shared a small roasted chicken, a small smoked buffalo wing, the carburized sweet salad and rosmarin. the best on the table were the crispy pommes, although I couldn't really recognize a taste of rosmarin. the next best was the fried chicken, the...moreread
Avoid them at all costs. a burger, a burrito and some ribs ordered by a somewhat ditsy bartender. after 15 minutes the burrito appeared together with the fritten from the burger. another 15-20 minutes went by and a coworker collected the teller when he asked if he had to go about the place of stay of the rest of the food he told us we had to go the bar. some workers have apologised to us and other people waiting for her to eat that the kitchen was a mess, and there was nothing they could do. at the approach to the bar (it was now over an hour) we were sent to the restaurant department, as there was nothing they could do. guess what happened...read more
This restaurant is a reliable option for delicious food and people-watching. The atmosphere leans towards being trendy and convenient. While the menu may not be trendy, they do a great job with their dishes - the fennel salad with Parma ham is especially amazing. The service can be a bit inconsistent and disengaged at times, so it's best not to visit when they are busy. But if they are in a rush, why are they hanging out in Hoxton Square? Relax, order a drink, observe the antics in the park, and try not to think about their rushed lifestyle. Overall, you can count on a consistently good meal in a hip setting.
Hoxton Square Bar and Kitchen, also known as Death by Burrito, is a fantastic place to enjoy a night out with friends. The cocktails are delicious and the snacks are tasty. The interior is cool and spacious, with a great outdoor area featuring picnic tables and heating. There is also a larger bar next door, perfect for continuing the evening after dinner. The staff was friendly and accommodating to our group of ten, offering recommendations on cocktails and food. We started with a Torreador cocktail, similar to a margarita but with a unique twist, recommended by our waiter. The cocktail menu is inventive with a mix of classics and modern concoctions. The food, while a bit pricey (6 pounds for fish tacos), is tasty but on the small side. I would suggest sharing dishes or ordering a couple of items. The fish tacos were particularly outstanding, with soft tortillas filled with shredded lettuce, spicy mayo, and crispy fried fish. We also enjoyed the Mexi fries, regular fries topped with delicious toppings. Overall, I would highly recommend a night out at this venue.
