Menu

Here you will find the menu of Curious Yellow Kafe' in Hackney. Currently there are 43 dishes and beverages on the menu.

Curious Yellow Kafe offers a charming atmosphere with outdoor seating, attracting both locals and visitors alike. While some patrons rave about its friendly service and delightful dishes like the roasted dhal soup and pancakes, others express disappointment over slow service, overlooked orders, and bland meals, particularly during busy periods. The cafe’s potential seems stifled by inconsistent attentiveness from staff, affecting the overall experience. However, many appreciate the cozy vibe and welcoming ambiance, especially with the presence of the beloved dog, Louis. Overall, Curious Yellow Kafe stands as a mixed but memorable option for brunch enthusiasts in the area.

No pressure. Welcoming. Outside tables near a little grass. Inside some old wood stuff and shiny metal trunking. Good choice from omnivorous and veggie selection of quality basics. Coffee OK too. View all feedback.

What rw391 dislikes about Curious Yellow Kafe':
Definitely not a place to go when in a hurry. Friendly staff but you’ll find yourself waiting for even a basic coffee. Good place to unwind no doubt, but no more than an ok place to pop into if you are passing by. View all feedback.

Everyone in or around Shoreditch should visit this cafe. The charming Persian lady, Shoko, makes an amazing iced coffee. It reminded me of the iced coffee we used to have in Sri Lanka, back in the 80s. It's one of my all time favourite drinks. One also comes across interesting people here. The location is ideal as the area is never crowded and one doesn't feel rushed. Shoko is very welcoming, charming and friendly.
